We started the Backroom Acoustic Music Club in October 2007 and it has become a favourite venue with musicians both near and far...some even making it a regular stop when over from France! A twice-monthly acoustic music session meeting on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at the Jolly Sailor Pub - 43 Great Whyte, Ramsey, Cambs - Starting at 8pm (please note only on the fourth Thursday for August and September). “Open Stage” session – all styles and abilities encouraged. Whether you sing or play an instrument – whatever your style – you will be made to feel welcome, as will non-performing audience members. No need to book a slot – just come along – we will get around to everyone. Free entry to performers and audience alike.
